Adopt Vs. Shop

Getting a new puppy is always an exciting time for the family. But there's always that one question, do you adopt or shop?

Going to a breeder means you will know 100% what breed your new puppy is going to be. You'll be able to mould the puppy to how you desire them to be, it will be easier to train them and if you've got young children they can grow up with them. The only thing is you don't know what their personality is going to be like. You don't know if they're going to be cheeky, stubborn, boystrous or naughty.

Adopting a dog can be exactly the same as getting from a breeder. If you get a young dog it will be easier to train them than if you get an older dog. It might be harder to gain the trust of a dog who's had a traumatic past. But if you adopt a dog, the handler will already know what their personality is like, how much training they have, how much love and trust they can give.

Adopting a dog is an amazing way to give a precious animal a second/third/fourth etc. chance in life.
